  • Staring Down Other Players: If an opponent is staring down at you, he’s probably trying to look strong. In most cases though, his cards are weak – he may have something, but it’s something that can be beaten or drawn out on.
  • Holding Breath: Inexperienced players often tend to hold their breath when they are bluffing. Beginners at reading poker tells should remember about one more thing. More experienced players may and probably will give false tells, therefore the first thing to find out about other players is if they’re rookies or pros.
